Choosing the right materials

Choosing the right raw materials for your product is critical to its quality, performance and cost effectiveness. The good news is that at Corilla, we’re polymer experts.

We work with a variety of different plastics, the most commonly used being polyethylene (PE). An extremely durable and resistant material, PE is available in various grades and throughout the design process we’ll work with you to determine the most appropriate for your product’s application.

That means we’ll look at whether your product needs to withstand certain extreme temperatures, or if it will be used in the preparation of foods for example. We’ll even consider the cost and availability of the materials to find out whether there may be any implications or issues in using them in the long term.
